Doctor Kelly was trained in medical acupuncture through the internationally recognized Helms Medical Institute, a UCLA School of Medicine Program.  Dr. Kelly's traditional medical training was through the University of Virginia School of Medicine and residency in Family Medicine at Brown University.  He holds an appointment as Associate Professor, CWRU. 
     In addition to accupuncture, his special interests include health promotion and hypnosis.  He serves as the Medical Editor for www.familydoctor.org.

Dr. Kelly is a Fellow of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture (AAMA) and is one of only a few hundred physicians who are Board Certified by the American Board of Medical Acupuncture. In addition to traditional acupuncture, Dr. Kelly has had additional training in nontraditional modern applications of acupuncture for pain problems. He also can augment acupuncture treatment with Chinese herbal treatment for people who would benefit from both.
